Q: What is NeoSteam?
A: NeoSteam is a massively 3D multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It is set in a Steampunk inspired fantasy world that offers players challenging and exciting PvE (Player vs. Environment) gameplay with hundreds of quests and many dungeons to explore. If you’re in the mood to challenge other players, NeoSteam is packed full of thrilling PvP (Player vs. Player) and RvR (Realm vs. Realm) combat.
Players can also take advantage of this new world’s main natural resource, NeoSteam, and use it to make items such as mounts and siege machines.
Q: What does NeoSteam cost?
A: NeoSteam is completely free to play, all content is accessible by players upon registering an account and installing the game. There are neither download nor usage fees for playing the game.
Sophisticated players may, of course, choose to buy in-game cash for use in the in-game item shop. The items available in this shop can improve your gameplay experience, but are not required to complete any task in the game. Players can participate in every aspect of the game for free.
Q: Which kind of characters will I be able to play?
A: NeoSteam offers player a wide range of races and character classes - 7 races and 16 character classes (though not every race has access to all 16 classes).
Players can customise their character’s appearance and make them unique in the game world.
Q: If I have a question about the game, where can I find answers?
A: Information on how to get started with the game can be found here. This section explains the basics of the gameplay but should you find yourself lost within the game, there’s an in-game help function that should be able to answer any problems you have.

Q: Is there player vs. player combat?
A: Yes, NeoSteam includes a great deal of PvP content. Many areas of the game allow for PvP play between the two rival factions. Furthermore, players may immerse themselves in pitched battle through Realm vs. Realm (RvR) combat.
Q: Will I be able to create my own items?
A: Yes the game includes a detailed ‘crafting system’ which allows players to upgrade, combine and produce their own items - including weapons, armour and even mounts.
Q: I have an older PC. Will I be able to play NeoSteam?
A: We want as many players as possible to fully experience the fascinating world of NeoSteam, so our goal is to have as low system requirements as is possible whilst still offering detailed 3D graphics. You can check the system requirements for NeoSteam here.
Q: Will there be an Item Shop for the game?
A: Yes, NeoSteam will have an in-game Item Shop where players can buy a variety of special items for their characters. These items can be used to enhance the character or ease gameplay.
Whilst this is the only paid feature (you can exchange real money for in-game money to buy things at the item shop), it is not necessary for game play.
Players never have to pay any money to play.
